Typically we don’t shoot at the Griffith Observatory at sunset because of the crowds. However, for Roberta + Josh’s engagement session, it was just something that we couldn’t pass up! It was such a fun evening!

The Griffith Observatory opened back in 1935 and has been one of the must see attractions in Los Angeles and is one of our favorite locations for engagement sessions. It is located just above the Los Feliz neighborhood and provides a really unique and beautiful backdrop for your engagement photos. The views from the Observatory are stunning — these include DTLA and the Hollywood sign.
Even though the Griffith Observatory was crowded that evening, we know some great hidden spots to get away from the crowd. Because we have shot there a lot, we can provide our clients with the best session possible. We photographed their session and then ended the night with popping champagne and celebrating their engagement. We also got to meet their pup, Jovie!
Josh and Roberta are getting married next month at the Taglyan Complex in Beverly Hills. We are so excited to see what they have put together! Every wedding is different with styles and colors decor, the anticipation of waiting to see their gorgeous wedding is something we can’t explain!
Congratulations, Josh and Roberta! We can’t wait to be a part of your wedding day and capture all of your dance moves!
Let’s chat about your 2023 wedding!
