Did you know when you hire us for your wedding, you receive a complimentary portrait session? Most of our couples use this session for their engagement session. We love engagement sessions for lots of reasons!
The number one reason we love engagement sessions is that it allows us to get to know each other. This is important because on your wedding day we want you to feel comfortable with us and being in front of our cameras.
When planning your engagement session, we always a couple of different looks and locations so we can have a variety of photos. HERE are our top five engagement session locations in California. After deciding on locations, we go over outfits.
We also suggest that you bring two different outfits. When you have two outfits, there is more variety of photos. We have created an outfit guide for you; you can find it HERE.
One of our favorite engagement sessions this year was with Erica + Kevin. We started the day off at The Mission San Juan Capistrano. Erica wore a gorgeous red dress, and Kevin wore a suit. Erica’s dress looked perfect among the ruins of The Mission. We then headed over to Laguna Beach for golden hour. Laguna Beach has such a calming atmosphere for engagement photos. Erica and Kevin ran through the sand and snuggled up against each other. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for this fantastic couple!
