Laguna Beach is one of our favorite locations to photograph! The scenery is gorgeous, and the lighting is always perfect. Occasions at Laguna Village is a venue in Laguna Beach with stunning views, gourmet cuisine, and fantastic staff who is so helpful! We are excited to share Megan and Gerald’s Laguna Beach wedding day today!
Megan and Gerald were married on March 26th in a classic, traditional, and love-filled wedding. Megan and Gerald had a small, intimate wedding with most of their family and friends who traveled from many different states. Seeing everyone get together on your wedding day is a memorable experience for us, especially when everyone is from other parts of the US doesn’t get together often.
Megan and Gerald’s wedding colors were multiple shades of blue and white; these colors were perfect for a beach wedding! The bridesmaids spent the morning getting ready and drinking champagne (our favorite morning bridesmaids tradition!). Megan and Gerald didn’t want to see each other until Megan walked down the aisle, and this moment is one we will cherish forever! Their faces were unexplainable, and there was so much love!
The Ceremony
The ceremony site overlooked the ocean, then the staff flipped the space for the reception, and the guests could see the sea during dinner and dancing. Even though it was a cloudier day, the temperature was perfect, and the sun peaked during the golden hour! During sunset, we went down to the beach to capture portraits, which turned out amazing! Being down at the beach is our happy place and getting to photograph couples in love on their wedding day makes us love the beach even more.
