The day you have been waiting for is finally here; you are finally engaged to the love of your life, and you get to start wedding planning. One of the first things you should secure is your venue.

Your venue is going to both hosts your ceremony and reception or just your reception if you are getting married in a church. We suggest you book your venue 9-12 months ahead of time. Right now, with the “wedding boom” happening, you should look into booking your venue 12-14 months ahead of time.

Since we are Long Beach natives, we think it is one of the best areas to get married in Southern California. We have compiled a list of our favorite Long Beach venues.

Long Beach Wedding Venues

The Modern Long Beach

The Modern is uniquely placed on the top floor of The Sky Harbor Hangar. Imagine flying in for your ceremony and reception and flying away to your honeymoon. The Modern is a sophisticated and modern venue with white walls and great views. The best part about the venue is the terrace, where you can overlook the runway.

Ebell Long Beach

Ebell Long Beach is a beautiful venue nestled in Long Beach, surrounded by cascading Palm Trees. The Ebell was built by the women’s club in the 1920s. It has since been privately purchased and turned into a breathless space where couples celebrate their love.

Long Beach Museum of Art

The Museum of Latin American Art is the only museum in the United States dedicated to modern and contemporary Latin American and Latino art. This venue is a unique and artistic setting for events.

Rancho Los Cerritos

The mission of Rancho Los Cerritos Historic Site is to restore and preserve the ranch house structure and grounds. The venue has multiple locations for your ceremony and reception, and all have something different to offer.

Hotel Maya

Hotel Maya is A Latin-inspired waterfront hotel near downtown Long Beach. There are multiple options for your wedding reception, whether you want to be indoor or outdoor, overlooking the water.
