While we love and adore shooting large traditional weddings, we also love shooting small intimate weddings. Small intimate weddings are perfect for couples who want to interact with all of their guests and not worry about missing someone or saying thank you. We love this concept!
Lindsey and Gustavo got married last December in an intimate wedding with just over 30 guests. They said their vows at a cute little church in Seal Beach, the church was Grace Community Church and their gorgeous winter reception took place at the Downtown Long Beach Hyatt.
We started the morning at The Hyatt with both the bride and groom and their bridal parties getting ready. We love this part of the day because we get to interact separately with our couples and their friends and feel their emotions.
The bridesmaids wore gorgeous gold sequin gowns and the groomsmen wore dark grey suits to complement. Lindsey wore an all-over lace gown and Gustavo wore a navy blue suit. We love when the groomsmen and the groom have mix-match-colored suites!
At the reception, the bride, groom, and guests all had an intimate dinner. Lindsey and Gustavo cut their cake and their families said speeches. It was truly the perfect night.
We snuck away during sunset and went to Seal Beach to take some of the most gorgeous portraits of the couple. Their pup Fiji also joined us, and we took the perfect family portraits!
