Last month we had the pleasure of spending time with Lexi and Patrick for their engagement session. We decided to head to Malaga Cove Library, and then for sunset, we ended the session at Malaga Cove Beach in Palos Verdes.

Save for later!

Malaga Cove Library is a quaint library in the heart of Palos Verdes; the lighting is impeccable. There are so many places to photograph. Malaga Cove in Palos Verdes is the northernmost and sandiest beach in the city of Palos Verdes. Surfers enjoy this beach for the great waves, and onlookers love to watch. Malaga Cove is typically a less busy area because it is off the beaten path.

During our time and the Library, Lexi wore a long grey dress, and Patrick complemented her outfit with a navy suit and matching grey tie. When we headed to the beach, they did an outfit change into something more casual and flowy. Lexi wore a blue floral sundress, and Patrick wore khaki pants and a white linen shirt.

Patrick and Lexi are getting married at the Shade Hotel in October, and we can’t wait to celebrate their love and photography to date the best day of their lives.

Engagement Session Tip

When we are planning out our engagement sessions, we always suggest that you bring two outfits. Doing a quick outfit change gives you a more variety of pictures. With that variety of images, you can display more in your house and use multiple photos for your save the dates.
