Classic and Modern Wedding Inspiration at Kestrel Park

Have you ever been to the beautiful venue Kestrel Park? Located a few miles from the Santa Ynez Valley on a 100-mile acre property encompassing a 19th-century style English country house and stables.

We attended an editorial shoot styled and created by Lorie with H+L Lovely Creations earlier this year. The shoot was modern, chic, and luxe. The colors for the shoot were black, white, and gold. The gold accents encompassed the contemporary look.

The Attire

The bride wore a beautiful form-fitting short/long gown with long sleeves and a sparkly bodice by Berta Bridal. The dress perfectly complimented the groom wore a luxe white tux with black lapels from Friar Tux. The all-white flowers had an added touch next to the black chairs of the ceremony site and black details on the tablescape.

The Tablescape

The tablescape was decorated with black candle holders and white candles, gold chargers and table numbers, and white napkins and plates. The place cards were on black handmaid paper with gorgeous gold handwriting. One of our favorite things for 2022 is adding in black details!

The Ceremony Site

The ceremony site was intimate and lovely. Surrounded by a row of trees, the ceremony site sat at the end of the drive. The flowers stuck up from the ground, and the black chairs looked perfect among the greenery.

Sunset

The couple rode off into the sunset in a vintage black sports car. Before heading out, we got sunset pictures in the pasture. The golden light at Kestrel Park is some of the prettiest light we have seen.
