Back in August we headed to the Crystal Coast of North Carolina to attend Adorn Collective Workshops. We networked with photographers and shot five different shoots. One of the shoots was a sunset surf engagement session and it was one of our favorites from the week!

The Crystal Coast is an 85-mile stretch of coastline that extends from the Cape Lookout National Seashore, which includes 56 miles of protected beaches, southwestward to the New River. We were lucky to be on the New River where the water was tranquil and serene. The scenery and aesthetics did not disappoint at the Neuse Breeze Wedding Venue.

The evening started out with Hillary in a white short dress with a floppy hat and Davril in khaki shorts with a white linen top. Hilary had her hair and makeup done by Contours and Curls. They then changed into their swimsuits and headed onto their surfboards in the water to end the evening. We love when engagement shoots are fun and different!
