Angie and Mark met during their residency in medical school. After some long years in medical school, Mark popped the question to Angie on the DuSable Bridge in downtown Chicago. The DuSable Bridge overlooks the beautiful city and is stunning at night with all the city lights.

Angie and Mark decided on a destination wedding in Southern California. Most of their family and friends are worldwide, so California sounded like the perfect location! Angie and Mark married at Rancho Las Lomas, Southern California’s most spectacular botanical garden and private venue. Rancho Las Lomas is hidden away in the foothills and has multiple locations for your ceremony and reception. We loved every minute of being at this stunning venue!

Trends and colors for the year in the wedding industry change frequently, but one color that seems to stay prominent throughout the wedding industry is blush. Blush is such a romantic color that it can be used as little or as much as you want. Angie and Mark used blush, white, and gold throughout their wedding. Their wedding was designed by Radiant Love Events (who we adore working with!

The ceremony site had a stunning two-piece arbor filled with blush flowers; also included in the ceremony site were flowers down the aisle. The reception tables had blush and white centerpieces, candles, gold chairs, and silverware. Angie and Mark wanted to honor their Filipino heritage; they included items such as guava mocktails, mango and calamansi macaron cookies, a classic Filipino ice cream cart, and so much more! Incorporating your heritage is so important on your wedding day.

One of our favorite parts was Angie’s dress, which was custom-made by Veluz Bride. We can wholeheartedly say her dress was one of the most stunning we have ever seen! Mark and the groomsmen wore Barongs which is a traditional Filipino formal attire.
