There are so many different poses and shots that we can capture on your wedding day; seriously, the opportunities are endless, but there are a few that we suggest that you don’t miss out on.

Before we let you in on our must-have shots for your wedding day, we want to break down our process once we are hired. First, we ask you your expectations for your photos, and what’s important to you. From there, we create a timeline for your pictures to capture everything that you have requested and have suggested.

Wedding Details

Recently we talked about wedding details and why they are essential in a past blog post. We will always suggest that we capture your dress, rings, and heirlooms separately as they are the beginning of your love story and the start of your future together.

First Look

Whether you and your partner are seeing each other before the ceremony or right when you walk down the aisle, this is something that needs to be captured. The look you both have is unimaginable, and at that moment, you see each other and might forget that look in your memories, but it will be forever captured in a still picture.

Group Pictures

We always capture not only your bridal party on your wedding day but you will your family and friends. Whether they be posted photos or candid interactions, it is so important to have pictures with everyone. We typically capture the candids during your reception as you are walking around talking to guests. Create a list for us who is most important to be in pictures (of course, everyone is important!), but there might be some guests you still want candid photos with.

Reception Details

Capturing pictures of your cake, tablescapes, signage, and everything within your reception is a must. We capture images when it is empty and when it is filled with love. We do this because you can look back on the photos, and it will bring back memories.

First Dances

Capturing you and your partner having your first dance is one of our favorite moments of your wedding. It is so intimate, and to watch you both talk to each other and look into the eyes of each other is unexplainable. It is one of the only times you have to yourself on your day.

Bridal Portaits

We always recommend bridal portraits because it is just you on your wedding day; we can see the emotions in your eyes. It is a bittersweet moment. Whether we take them right before you walk down the aisle or during group photos, it is always a moment that you should cherish.

Candid Moments

Above we talked about candid moments with your bridal party, friends but what about you and your partner. The way you look into the eyes of each other, the way that you are sharing intimate, funny moments with you.

Portraits

We love doing portraits of just you and your partner. These pictures can go on your thank you cards; they can be displayed in your house, given to your loved ones so they can exhibit, and they look amazing in your wedding albums. Your wedding is about you and your partner, and these pictures are worth cherishing.

Your Walk Down the Aisle

During your walk down the aisle, many emotions and thoughts are going through your head. When you head down the first time, you are a fiance, and when you head back, you are a wife. You can see the difference in your emotions in each set of photos.
